2 Sessions with Lynsey and I have the confidence to continue with the training we need to do. She is so knowledgeable and profesional, highly recommend her services.
Thankyou so much.
Lynsey started working with dogs at the young age of 13 yrs old (now 39!), cycling the two miles to the newly opened Animals in Distress to volunteer.
She later left school and worked within a local kennels for a number of years, before setting up Sensible Dogs. Lynsey has worked closely with a number of rescue centres, (Many Tears Animal Resuce, British Dalmation Welfare), to foster, re-hab and re-home many of her canine friends. Her love, understanding and knowledge of dogs is what makes her special and stand out from other trainers and behaviourists.
She has owned many resuce dogs and at present has 9 dogs, 4 of which are rescues.
Over the years we have owned a variety of different dogs and different breeds. Below are our beloved dogs who play an inportant part in running the business. They help us with socialisation, behavioural consultations, puppy classes and most importantly they are there in the evening to give us a cuddle and uncondtional love that dogs do.
Odie is a working Cocker Spaniel. He is definately Lynsey's right hand man. He is the only one of the clan we actually bought as a puppy.
Kizzy is a Collie cross resue adopted from Many Tears Rescue. She is a perfect lady but also knows how to play rough and tumble
We adopted Quirky, the labrador, from Many Tears Amimal Rescue at 8 month Old. He had a broken nose and fractured skull due to the result of a puppy farm but he has never let it bother him and lives life to the full.
Shep is a Collie X Lurcher and is our youngest member of the clan. He was a very nervous puppy but is starting to build confidence now.
Bruno is a labrador and is the grumpy, old grandad of our clan. He occasionally has a burst of energy but can be seen sunning himself somewhere or asleep.
Our dear friend, gone but never forgotten..
